Subaru Forester and Forester XT owners covering everything from the original SF-chassis wagon through the current SK/SL generation get engine protection with the Primitive Racing Front Skid Plate. Fabricated from 5052 aluminum in 1/8" or 3/16" thickness depending on generation, it replaces the factory plastic splash guard with a rigid shield built to deflect rocks, ruts, and trail debris while preserving ground clearance and cooling airflow. An up-turned rear lip keeps the plate from catching on obstacles when reversing, and it bolts straight to existing factory mounting points with no drilling.
