We started Flat 4 Offroad in 2020 because we kept seeing the same thing, people with capable vehicles and a ton of enthusiasm, but no clear path to getting them trail-ready. Finding the right parts in Canada was a headache, and the advice out there was either too generic or too intimidating.

In 2025 we opened Bay 01 at 5510 3 St SE in Calgary, our first proper home base. It means faster turnarounds, more capacity, and a place to actually come hang out and talk builds in person. We're pretty excited about it.

Chase has been building and wheeling Subarus for years, and has the muddy recovery straps to prove it. His 2004 Forester has done week-long backcountry trips through Alberta and BC, and his 2004 STI keeps things exciting closer to home on the autocross circuit. He started Flat 4 Offroad because he wanted to help more people get outside, and that's still what gets him to the shop every morning.
