The Toyo Observe GSi-6 is a dedicated winter tire sized for the WRX's 17 inch wheels across the 2008-2026 range, with a Standard fitment for stock-height cars and an Aggressive fitment for WRXs running a light lift. Toyo cuts the tread for snow traction and wet-ice braking and keeps the compound flexible well below freezing, instead of the stiff ride a warm-weather tire gives once it's cold out.
