If you're running a roof rack, a rooftop tent, or just loading and unloading gear from height, a proper rear ladder changes the game. NashFab's aluminum rear ladder is built specifically for the Subaru Forester, each generation has its own fitment, so you're getting a ladder designed for your hatch, not adapted from something else. The ladder mounts to the top and bottom of the rear hatch using a bottom bracket that clamps with set screws, no drilling required, and no metal ever contacts your paint. At 6 lbs, it's about a third of the weight of NashFab's original steel version, and being aluminum means it's rust-free for the long haul. Each step is flat and square with grip tape for non-slip footing, and the top platform gives you a solid stepping surface when you're getting onto the roof.

- Material is 1/4 inch aluminum, keeping the whole unit at just 6 lbs
- Rated to 250 lbs and built as a single one-piece unit, so there's nothing to assemble before install
- Mounts to the top and bottom of the rear hatch on the drivers side with a clamping bracket system no drilling
- Steps are flat and square with grip tape on each one, and the top plate doubles as a stepping platform for getting onto the roof
- On rare occasions the added hatch weight can affect strut performance, most vehicles have no issue, but if your struts are already marginal it's worth considering
- Finished in powder coated matte black (other colours available on request)
