Sharp rock on Alberta forest service roads is hard on low-profile sidewalls, which is why so many Forester builds step down to a smaller wheel and a taller tire. For the 1998-2013 Forester on 5x100, the Method MR502 VT-Spec in 15x7 +15mm bolts on hub-centric thanks to its 56.1mm bore, with a 2,100 lb rating at roughly 8.8 kg. Every generation can run the 17x8 +38mm MR502 Rally: Matte Black, Bronze or Titanium on the 1998-2018 cars, and those three plus Gold on the 2019-2026 models with 5x114.3 hubs. The Rally is cast from A356 aluminum with T6 heat treatment, is rated to 1,850 lb and ships with a ring for the 56.1mm hub. Turbo XT owners should confirm front caliper clearance before choosing the 15 inch size. Ships Canada-wide, duties included, from Flat 4 Offroad in Calgary.
