The 2026 Subaru Forester Wilderness has factory roof tie-down hooks but no crossbar system built to carry a loaded kayak or gear box. The Rally Innovations ACS Platform Roof Rack by Leitner Designs bolts to those hooks with billet aluminum mounts, so there is no drilling and the install takes under an hour with the included hand tools. Dual T-slot load bars adjust to the cargo and accept T-track accessories from Thule, Rhino-Rack, and Yakima, and the rack works with the factory sunroof without adding height. Load ratings are 1,000 lbs static, 500 lbs on-road, and 250 lbs off-road, which suits a Forester loaded with skis and a tent for Alberta winters.
