Once an older Forester is lifted more than about 1.5 inches, the rear trailing arms sit at a steeper angle and the rear wheels get pulled forward in the wheel well. The HRG Offroad 1" Trailing Arm Spacer Kit lowers the trailing arm pivot points by 1 in. (25 mm), bringing the arms back toward a neutral angle for better rear geometry and steadier handling on washboard Alberta gravel. It fits 1998-2008 Forester models, covering both the first and second generations. The kit is a set of six spacers with grade 10.9 bolts, an HRG sticker and illustrated instructions.
