A stock Crosstrek sits low enough that a rutted forestry road or a frozen windrow at the end of an Alberta driveway can scrape the front bumper and the exhaust. The HRG Offroad 1-1/2" Lift Kit adds 1.5 in. (38 mm) with powder-coated steel spacers that are hand-welded in the USA, keeping the factory springs and struts so ride quality stays close to stock. The 2018-2027 kit, which also fits the 2024-2026 Crosstrek Wilderness, includes front and rear spacers, subframe spacers, brake line relocation brackets, three exhaust hangers and a steering shaft extension, all with grade 10.9 hardware. The 2013-2017 kit for the first-generation Crosstrek XV uses front and rear spacers with camber adjustment bolts to bring alignment back into spec.
