The Subaru Crosstrek's transmission pan hangs low enough that rocks and trail debris can reach it even on moderate terrain. ASFIR's Transmission Skid Plate covers it with 1/4 inch laser-cut aluminum, vented to manage heat buildup the same way as their Engine Skid Plate.
